Where is The Barn at Pine View Located?
The Barn at Pine View is located at 1230 Pine View Lane, Keysville, Virginia 23947. Keysville is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes west of Richmond, one hour and fifteen minutes east of Danville, one hour and forty-five minutes from Charlottesville and only an hour from Lynchburg.
Can I use my own vendors?
Yes! We do require that your vendors are licensed and insured and proof of insurance must be provided at least 30 days before the event date. We are also happy to recommend local vendors to you!
What is the cancellation policy?
In the event of a cancellation, your security deposit is non-refundable. All cancellations must be done in writing. Although we do not require cancellation insurance, we do recommend looking into it if you are concerned about the possibility of having to cancel for any reason.
Do you require event insurance and cancellation insurance?
We do require event insurance which can be purchased through your homeowners insurance, eventhelper.com, or other various websites. We do not require cancellation insurance.
When are payments due?
All fees are due at least 60 days prior to the event. A payment plan can be set up.
How many tables and chairs does the venue have?
The Barn at Pine View has enough tables and chairs to hold approximately 300 guests inside the barn. We also have additional church pews/chairs for outdoor use.
Do you allow alcohol and can I bring my own?
Yes, you must obtain an ABC license from https://virginia.abc.gov/ which is $55.00 and then you are welcome to bring in your own beer, wine, and/or liquor. All alcoholic beverages must be served by a bartender/caterer.
What is the maximum guest capacity for both ceremony and reception?
The Barn at Pine View can comfortably seat approximately 300 people inside of the barn.
How much time is allowed for set up and clean up?
The amount of time allowed for set up varies depending on the chosen package. Each package allows guests time to set up/decorate before the event. We also allow guests to add additional hours if needed. The Barn at Pine View will set up all tables and chairs prior to the event.
Do you allow the barn to be decorated?
Yes! All decorations MUST be removed without leaving any damage. Nails are not permitted. All decorations and outside rentals and/or equipment must be removed by 9 a.m. the following day unless other arrangements have been made. The property as well as all facilities must be left as you found them.
